We are looking for an exceptionally talented and qualified Mental Health Professionals to join us! We are looking for a Licensed Psychiatric Addictionologist. The qualified applicant must specialize in Addiction Medicine. Have experience providing counseling to adolescents and adults in their natural settings that are struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Job Description:

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide clinical management oversight to pharmacologic management and behavioral services provided by FSOH.
  • Provides leadership guidance to clinical operation.
  • Reviews protocols pertaining to clinical practices.
  • Reviews service description, admission, continued stay and discharge criteria for each service area.
  • Reviews approved therapeutic interventions and modalities of care permissible under CMS and 3rd party reimbursement sources;
  • Reviews services for specific population group (children, adolescents, and adults).
  • Participates and directs Pharmacologic Team Meetings.
  • . Provides guidance to behavioral health providers and is available for consultation and utilization management reviews of high-risk cases.
  • Provides guidance regarding appropriate medical care.
  • Oversees and provides direct service pharmacologic management evaluations and provides consultative guidance.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology-certified/eligible MD licensed in the District of Columbia preferred.
